Daiquiri Cuba
Jennings Cox, an American mining engineer stationed in Cuba during the Spanish–American War, is said to have invented the Daiquiri cocktail.
Over the years, this three-ingredient gift has delighted millions of palates, including big names like Ernest Hemingway and President John F. Kennedy.
Ingredients For Daiquiri
2 ounces white rum (Bacardi White Rum)
1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
3/4 ounce demerara /simple syrup
Garnish: Lime Twist

Recipe For Daiquiri
Method -:
Step 1.
In a shaker with ice, combine the rum, lime juice, and demerara sugar syrup and shake until thoroughly chilled.
Step 2.
Pour into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 3.
Serve with a twist of lime as a garnish.

The Daiquiri is plain and exquisite in its purest form, a delicate combination of rum's richness with the raw freshness of sugar and lime juice. Those three things have been the focus of people's lives for a long time. It goes without saying that each ingredient should be of the highest standard, but the Daiquiri will always give you a curve.
Define Daiquiri
Whether you have an excessively sweet rum with too much sugar, you'll be drinking liquid candy; if you have too much lime, the mixture will drown in a puckering lake of acidity.
With a medium rum and a darker demerara sugar syrup, this mixture treads on thin ice. The two bring out the best of each other and complement the new lime juice well. Use a hand-squeezer to extract the juice from the limes (or your own hands). The oils from the rind give the cocktail a sweet, vibrant edge by adding an additional flash of intensity.
VARIATIONS ON THE RECIPE
Strawberry Daiquiri Drink
Add 3-4 Strawberries & combine rest of the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
Hemingway Daiquiri: Replaces basic syrup with maraschino liqueur and adds grapefruit juice; serve over crushed ice.
Banana Daiquiri: Including an extra tropical twist, add a dash of banana liqueur.
Winter Daiquiri: The inclusion of black strap rum darkens the flavours.
