She is an embodiment of grace and elegance and has built a community of luxury lovers throughout her influencing journey. With an MBA in Finance and certification as an IFC trainer, Itika has carved a space for herself in the luxury industry. She is also the proud owner of the popular footwear brand Stelatoes in Lajpat Nagar. She is a successful entrepreneur and has taken her passion for high-end fashion to a great height with her influencing journey.

Your journey from being an entrepreneur and establishing a noticed social media presence seems truly inspiring. How did you manage to sail in both boats?


Being a content creator and an entrepreneur both are challenging in its each way. But it feels good to have progressive mindset. Multitasking is the key and yes both the domains go hand in hand. While I am working for my brand I am simultaneously planning on the content, brands, collaboration etc. So, the key is consistency and smart work.

What factors ignited your passion for luxury fashion and lifestyle?


I was always attracted to the niche of luxury, it’s a space created with integrity, authenticity and honesty. Luxury is when you can afford it but don’t allow yourself to have it. 

 

Luxury content does not have to be limited to traditional formats like images, text, or audio. You can experiment with new formats that offer more interactivity, you can also use user-generated content, co-creation, or collaborations to involve your audience in your content creation process. The space is never ending it has so much to offer. The challenge is to stand out as luxury doesn't come easy.  There are very few luxury content creators which creates that urge to create more content in that space I would also like explore more of luxury travel. 

 


Since you are the owner of Stelatoes, Lajpat Nagar. What challenges do you face in handling such a renowned brand?


Stelatoes is my home brand and it’s a family business. By god’s grace its running quite good. Initially there were a lot of challenges to make a mark in the extremely competitive market but over the years we have mastered the act of competition and the business is running quite well. With every successful brand there are certain pros and cons, but we have been able to maintain the brand’s identity with constant hard work and serving our customer base.

How does your MBA in finance help in the management and growth of Stelatoes to keep it at the forefront in the luxury market?


Well, the education I gained has always helped to bring that edge to my business. Holding a master’s degree was helpful to give the business a fresh outlook. Revamping the business and helping the business to grow. Business strategies should be updated time to time to get profitable results and maintain brand value. 



Social media is all about personal branding. What strategies do you use to make your content different from other luxury influencers?


The content creation space is highly competitive and fragile. Personally, its challenging to maintain the visibility and engagement in the space but it’s equally satisfying to see yourself at a stage where the brands recognize your work and the quality you deliver.


Individuality is the key to connect with your audience, transparency and authenticity follows.



What are your plans ahead for Stelatoes and your brand as an influencer? Are there any renowned luxury fashion collaborations that are on your bucket list?

For Stelatoes I have a plan to make it enter the luxury segment as of now its semi luxury and I would love to expand the business to the gulf markets and post that I have a plan to extend it to the Asian countries as well. 

 

As an influencer I want to create more travel content keeping luxury in mind and would love to go international. 

 

I Have a lot of brands in my bucket list, Dior and Burberry being on the top of the list.




Being an IFC certified trainer, how do you integrate this achievement in your role as an entrepreneur and influencer?

 

Being an IFC certified trainer definitely plays an important role is my business and content creation. It helps me plan and regulate my finances. Also, it gives me the decision-making power to think what’s benefiting and what’s not from a monetary point of view. I can think rationally using my knowledge in finance. Also, I have plan to become a financial influencer in near future, through which I can share my financial expertise to my fellow audience to help them maintain and regulate their individual finances and build a portfolio.

What piece of advice will you give to budding influencers trying to make space for themselves in the luxury industry?

 

The only piece of advice I would like to give it to my fellow influencers and content creators is to be original and authentic. No one in this world can take your talent. Be unique be you that should be the mantra. Each one of us are unique in our way and that’s what our followers and audiences like. Please do not let that fade. And second is consistency.



Lastly, what is your definition of luxury and how do you manage to stay relevant with your content in the world of emerging trends in luxury fashion and travel?


I think the majority of people working in luxury will agree with me when I say that it's a unique industry to be involved with. It's special. There's a focus on quality over quantity, on timelessness, on unhurriedness, on true craftsmanship and creativity, on being inspirational. Things move a little differently in the luxury world.

Attitude (a positive, hard-working, cooperative one) is equally as important as aesthetic, so we only ever engage influencers that we know work as hard as we do to make a campaign great. It's also important that our luxury influencers don't deviate from their signature style – that they won't, for example, one day decide to collaborate with a brand that negatively impacts the premium brands they might have worked with previously. This is why we only choose influencers that we have worked with before and with whom we have a long-standing relationship, or that we know/have met in person and we're absolutely confident they meet our rigorous standards.
